Police Department Open House Welcomes All Residents
Everyone is invited to the Police Department's upcoming Open House. The event will be held from 6-8PM on Thursday, September 30th at the Law Enforcement Center, 5110 Broadway Ave.

Come enjoy free hot dogs, cookies, drinks, SWAT demos, K9 unit, children's fingerprinting and much, much more.

City residents can now dispose of bulky materials twice a year at the IESI Convenience Center at no charge. Haltom City has extended its contract with IESI, and city residents will benefit from the new proposal.

HC Library Logo Contest Celebrates 50 Years of Service
The Haltom City Library will celebrate its 50th birthday, beginning February 2011 and continuing with monthly events and activities through December 2011. The library first opened in Haltom Plaza on February 28th, 1961.

  • Logo entries must be from original ideas and be hand drawn.
  • Entries should well represent the HC Library and celebrate its achievements/service
  • Contest is open to all ages and may include City of Haltom City staff members.

  • Organize a Block Party for Texas Night Out
    This year’s celebration will be held on Tuesday, October 5th, from 7-9PM. Texas Night Out is a day set aside for communities to get behind crime prevention and discuss concerns they might have in their neighborhoods. The Block Parties don't have to be expensive and can include such things as hot dogs, drinks, chips, cookies & punch.
